How do I set up the synchronisation of calendar entries with the calendar from my iPhone, iPad or iPod?

Automatic setup

We have prepared configuration files for you, with which the setup can function automatically. Simply open the following link in the web browser of your iPhone or iPad:

You just need to enter your Posteo email address in full as a username and your Posteo password as the password. Please be careful to enter your email address using all lower case.

Finishing up

In order for your calendar entries to show up in your Posteo calendar from now on, you need to make Posteo your standard account for calendar entries. This can be done via “Settings” → “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” and under “Calendar”, choose “Standard Calendar”.

Manual setup

Of course, a manual set up is also possible. Go into the settings of your iPhone or iPad. Go into “Mail, Contacts, Calendar” and then “Add Account”. Choose “Other” and “Add CalDAV Account”. In each field, please insert the following:
Server: posteo.de

Username: Your Posteo address
Password: Your Posteo password


Then click “Continue” – now your Posteo calendar is set up on your iPhone, iPad or iPod and available in the calendar app.
