How to use the automatic configuration for the Posteo calendar
You can use the Posteo configuration file to set up the synchronization of your calendar automatically. You just enter your Posteo email address as the username and your Posteo password. To start the automatic setup, open the following link in the browser (Safari only) of your iPhone or iPad:

Important: During the installation, enter your Posteo email address using only lowercase letters.
How to make your Posteo calendar the default calendar in iOS 11
After installing the configuration file, your iPhone or iPad copies all appointments from Posteo to your device. For this synchronization to also work from iPhone or iPad to Posteo, you can change the default calendar. To do so, proceed as follows:
- Open the iOS-Settings.
- Tap on Calendar.
- Tap on Default calendar.
- Select Standardkalender under Posteo Calendar.
How to set up your Posteo calendar manually in iOS 11
For a manual setup of the calendar in iOS 11 proceed as follows:
- Open the iOS-Settings.
- Tap on Accounts & Passwords.
- Tap on Add account.
- Tap on Other.
- Select Add CalDAV account.
- Under Server enter posteo.de, under Username enter your Posteo email address, under Password enter your Posteo password and under Description enter a suitable text such as Posteo Calendar.
- Tap on Next.
- Activate the synchronization of iOS reminders as well, if desired, and finish the setup by tapping Save.
You have successfully set up the synchronization of your Posteo calendar on your iOS device. Now make your Posteo calendar the default calendar.
