I don’t have a German mobile number - can I still use this function for password resets?

Yes you can. The country code of your mobile is not relevant here. The important thing is that it is a mobile number (not a landline), with the country code correctly attached. If those two things are right, it will work.

Examples:

  • UK: 00447912345678
  • USA: 0015551234567
  • Australia: 0061408123456

Alternatively, you can activate the “forgotten password” feature with an email address instead of a mobile phone number.
