How to manually set up your Posteo address book

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Contacts.
3. Select Accounts.

4. Tap Add Account.
5. Select Other.
6. Tap Add CardDAV Account.

7. In the Server field, enter posteo.de; in the Username field, enter your complete Posteo email address; in the password field, enter your Posteo password; and in the Description field, enter an appropriate description, for example Posteo contacts.
8. Tap Next.

You have successfully set up your Posteo address book. If you use more than one address book, you can now make your Posteo address book the default address book.

How to automatically configure your Posteo address book

1. Using the Safari browser on your device, click on the link below and click Allow:

2. Tap Close.
3. Now open the Settings app and tap Profile Downloaded.
4. Tap Install.
5. Confirm by tapping Install.
6. Enter your Posteo email address and tap Next.
   Important: During installation, use only lowercase letters to enter your Posteo email address.
7. Now enter your password and tap Next.
8. Close the setup menu by tapping Done.

How to make your Posteo address book the default address book

If you use more than one address book, you can make your Posteo address book your default account for new contacts, so that your contacts are automatically synchronized between your iPhone or iPad and Posteo:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Contacts.
3. Tap Default Account.
4. Select Posteo contacts.
