How to use a quick filter

You can filter the email list in Posteo webmail according to various criteria. For example, you can display all unread or flagged emails or all emails with an attachment. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the quick filter menu. You can find this in the upper-right next to the search bar. If you have not yet used this menu, it is labelled as All.
  2. Select the desired quick filter. For example Unread.
Click on the quick filter menu and select the desired quick filter.

That's it! You have used a quick filter. You now only see unread emails from your email list. You can search the filtered list or sort emails.

It's a matter of convenience: The filter is automatically activated for all folders. If you open another folder, you will also see a filtered email list. If you would like to see all emails again, you can deactivate the quick filter again.

How to deactivate quick filters

To see all emails again, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the quick filter menu.
  2. Select All.
Click on the quick filter menu and select "All".

That's it! You have deactivated the quick filter selection.
