If you have forgotten your password, but previously saved it in an email client such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail, you can easily retrieve it using a third-party program.

One such program is Mail PassView. If you would like to use Mail Pass View to show your password, download the program using the hyperlink provided above, install and open it. Your passwords will be visible to you.

The website is in English. At the bottom right of the website there is a list of other languages for the program.

The program is identified by some anti-virus programs as potentially dangerous – this can be ignored.
