If you have forgotten your password, but previously used it within Apple OS X, you will be able to see it there.

Search for “Keychain” to find and open Keychain options.

Look through the list of passwords for the entry corresponding to your Posteo inbox (or calendar, or address book) and double-click it. In the window that opens, you can check the “show password” box in order to view your password.
