With the help of folders, you can organise your inbox as well as sorting by people or themes. This help article explains how to create a new folder.
Creating a folder
To create a new folder first, log in to the Posteo webmail interface. Then, proceed as follows:
- Open Settings
- Click Folders
- Click the at the bottom left
- Enter a name for the folder
- Click Save
Via the “Parent folder” menu option, you can specify where a folder is saved. For example, you can make folders into subfolders of the inbox. Subfolders within folders are also possible, just like on a computer system. With Posteo, you can add unlimited folders and subfolders. The depth of your folder structure (subfolders within subfolders, etc) is also unlimited.
List view mode
With list view mode, you can specify for each folder whether the webmail interface displays emails in a list or in conversation view. You can read about the difference between “list” and “conversation” view in our help article How do I change between list and conversation view?
